Particularly suitable for application outdoors, including marine environments.

Unlike the cable ties, the fixing collar enables insertion of the body into the head, thanks to the optimal flexibility of the material and elastic deformation of the head itself. This material is softer and more flexible with respect to that used for cable ties. Manual insertion requires a certain force, and therefore the use of a tool is recommended (PIN. 005). As the plier is not pre-loaded, the torque needs to be adjusted to the point when the excess tail is cut, at least 2 or 3 teeth still protrude from the head.

A safety module of at least 2 must always be maintained in normal environmental conditions.

A higher safety module (from 2 to 10) must be applied in more severe conditions. This module should be increased in proportion to the deviation of environmental conditions from those considered “normal”.
